Sandy Hussain

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner-Board Certified, PMHNP-BC, MSN, RN, BSN

Hi, I’m Sandy Hussain—a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner focused on providing compassionate, evidence-based care through personalized medication management. I earned my Post-Master’s Certificate from Wilkes University, where I’m currently pursuing my Doctor of Nursing Practice. I also completed my degrees in Biology, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) at Montclair State University.

My journey in healthcare began as a Registered Nurse, where I spent nearly eight years caring for patients in medical-surgical and postpartum mother–baby units. That experience shaped my approach to care, rooted in family-centered values, clinical precision, and heartfelt connection.

Today, I specialize in medication management for a wide range of mental health conditions. My style is collaborative and patient-centered: I work with you to create a treatment plan that makes sense for your life and your goals. Whether we’re addressing anxiety, depression, ADHD, or other challenges, my priority is helping you feel supported, informed, and heard.

I’m honored to have received the Daisy Award for compassionate nursing from RWJ Barnabas in 2022, and the Professionalism Award from Broward Health Medical Group in 2014.

If you’re ready to explore the next step in your mental health care, I’m here to support you!
